When the Bobby Bonds Soccer Complex in Riverside, California needed a strong, reliable, sports netting to be constructed, Judge Netting did not take the task lightly. Many vehicles, as well as pedestrians, could be in harm’s way with all the soccer balls flying about. The Sports Netting Structure constructed was completely custom, built with both the safety and aesthetic value in mind.

Wynn resorts did not have room for a full driving range after the old Desert Inn Golf Course was reconfigured. We worked with Wynn Development representatives and Wadsworth Construction to design a “backstop” type design that would allow a full swing without the acreage required for a typical driving range or the constraints of a warm up cage. The design allows for lessons and a good warm up practice area within the constraints of a limited space.
As with every job, to determine a site specific design, we begin by addressing the individual safety concerns of the site, wind speed, city codes and restrictions, type of ball used, and any other factors that need to be considered, such as working closely with consultants to provide a professional and scientific ball trajectory study where appropriate.
We are proud to have completed another beautiful installation golf range netting, while protecting the course from possible litigation from nearby neighbors. With Zocchi Development working on building construction right next door, safety and golf ball containment were very real issues to address as we designed the custom golf netting for the Diablo Creek Golf Course! There is an old saying, “good fences make good neighbors” but at Judge Netting, we believe that “well planned, well designed, and well constructed barrier netting will establish good will with neighbors”.

With its gently sloping terrain, views of the San Gabriel mountains and large mature oak trees, San Gabriel Country Club is one of most respected golf clubs in Southern California. As always our netting is custom fabricated for each job, with 3,500 lb. rope sewn in vertically, horizontally, and around the perimeter of each panel. The net always fits tight and is supported vertically, laterally, and horizontally to increase longevity and prevent billowing. Steel poles were used for strength and durability, with Extra High strength galvanized guy wire, 20,000 lb. galvanized earth anchors, and Heavy duty galvanized steel hardware.
For this specific project, it was equally important for the netting to blend into the trees and not to obstruct the incredible views for which this scenic country club is so well known.
